i´ve never had a nick. a couple of people from a previous forum briefly called me lom (obvious reasons) but they quickly started to call me by my name (james.) there was a group with several james´ in it so i got called by my surname but the group has fragmented and the people i´m still in touch with now call me by my name. i´ve actually enjoyed never having a nick.
i do have nicks for some people and for several i´m the only person that calls them that. my brother is alex but i call him dorsk, one of my closest friends is jernej but i call him bobo (which was his nick for his dog) and one of my friends is chubbs but not many people know his real name of andrew since most people are introduced to him as chubbs. we all call chubbs´(and my close friend vic´s) mum toots and i don´t know why, but she is a wierdo.
