I have, over the years, unsuccessfully tried to start my own nicknames while others around me have flourished. Many friends growing up went by nicknames and still many of my friends have their own nicknames: Matty Rodeo (Refers to his popularity at a local bar that is filled with "cougars"), Socks (Her name is Kaitlyn but everyone calls her socks), Cando (grew up with this kid and I've never met anyone that calls him by his first name); even my step father has the name Hobie (I never call him anything else).

And that is nothing. It's like everyone has one; you know, except for me.

So I'm wondering, what's your nickname. Or, if you don't have one, what would you like because as a fellow nicknameless human being, I am more then willing to refer to you as "King Awesome".

So I'll start: My name is Taylor, some people call me by my last name (Seymour) but not many. Some people call me Tay. The only one that has kind of stuck is Tom Sawyer; a father of a girl I grew up with called me that because I was a Tall Tales kind of guy. He stopped for a long time until I saw his wife when I was 19 and she went on (while intoxicated) at length about how "hot I was". The daughter was devestated, and the husband started calling me Tom Sawyer... he's a cop, he has a gun, I stopped going over hahaha.

So nothing really. I'd love to be called Sammy. For a short while I was playing an Irish bar owner in a play named Sammy and people called me that for a bit. I always liked it.
