Because I once again have free time: The Doctor's name, what is it?
I have had some ideas since they keep repeating in the new series that his name is a guarded secret, or it is more than a secret. The only incorrect reference I remember was Drax from the Armageddon Factor calling the Doctor "Pete" (he was actually calling Thete, short for his nickname from university days as Theta Sigma).
So: names? Since the Doctor has nothing but bad luck following him I would have so say that his name can't be too good. Loki comes to mind.
