This is what I had for dinner. I took a local brew and boiled some hotdogs in it. Some might say that it's a waste of a beer -but I have plenty.
First you need some simple ingredients. I like Trader Joes brand stuff:
Those would be honey wheat hotdog buns.
Pour the entire bottle in and add a little water. Be sure to poke holes in the weiners with a fork -it'll let the beer in.
You might want to have an extra beer handy -to drink.
While my wieners are boiling get the buns ready:
You might want to drink another beer at this point. This time see how fast you can drink it. The trick is to open up your throat, but there is no shotgunning from a bottle.... unless you're crazy.
Now that your weiners are boiling you should drink another beer. This time slowly, savor the flavor. If you drink it too fast -you might want to drink another one. The reason is that the weiners need time to cook.
Carefully load the weiners into the buns.
If you burn your hand at this point -you will need to get a cold beer out of the refridgerator. Hold it against the burn. Open it and drink it.
Much better now... time to taste my weiner.
