Being from the Gold Coast of CT, every time people from the rest of the country (with a few exceptions, notably NYC and urban CA) start talking about apartment prices, I wonder if they forgot a "1" or "2" at the front of the numbers. The rest of the country is so ... affordable.
If it weren't for the familiarity and everyone I know living here, I would get the fuck out, but this is home and I feel a strong bond to it and its bullshit inflated prices.
