i'm inclined to agree with noodle and jess, even though i don't really understand what you mean when you use variants of the funk when you talk about the first place.
funky--->smells in a particular way?
funky--->heavy accent on the one?
i thought funky town was a dance club...
the first place sounds very cool. i am a sucker of walls of windows, decks and docks....
