Michael Strahan Steps off the Field
Giants' defensive end Michael Strahan announced his retirement yesterday. He walks off the field holding the Giants all-time sack reckord (141.5, with an assist from Brett Farve), seven Pro Bowl appearances, and, "the icing on the cake," a Super Bowl championship.
"I don't think you need a ring to fulfill your career, but when you don't have one, you justify to yourself that you don't need it," Strahan said. "Then, when you get one, you're like, 'There's no way I could have left without it.'"
Happy trails to you, #92.

Cameron originally envisioned the Terminator as a small, unremarkable man, giving it the ability to blend in more easily. As a result, his first choice for the part was Lance Henriksen. O. J. Simpson was on the shortlist but Cameron did not think that such a nice guy could be a ruthless killer.
