I like TFP because of the reasons already listed, which boils down to respect for our fellow posters. It's a mature place to have conversations and fun. I don't have to be afraid of asking a stupid question and getting called all those noobie names.
I'm mostly a lurker. If I don't have anything constructive to add, I don't usually join in on the conversation, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy others' contributions to the topic.
