But you're right, it
is different, but it isn't always in the way you have presented it--just as there are degrees of differences between misogyny and misandry.
I'm of the view that men are violent for a reason, and sometimes (often?) it's because of psychological stress or disorders. I wouldn't be surprised to find that the most under-diagnosed population in society is men. This goes for many aspects of health, both mental and physical.
So in answer to the OP: Sure, men who are violent can be fully expected to repeat it, but, then again, they should also be given credit for having the potential to heal this behaviour.
