There isn't a requirement to have a Phd. or carry tomes of books, links, resources, to back up one's opinion. The only requirement for discussion is an opinion placed and posted without flame and troll.
It seems that host would rather have a competition as to how many quotations and citations to determine the "winner" of the discussion. There isn't any winner, the point of the discussion is to discuss, if a mind changes, it changes. If it doesn't, it doesn't.
Again, the ONLY requirement for admission is simply having an opinion and a willingness to post it.
Berating someone because they don't have any citations to back up their opinion is EQUALLY frustrating to those that have opinions and are berated and demeaned for posting and not having citations or proof of their opinion.
