I don't think Shia was too jewy for the part, either. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is really jewish and he could have carried this part like a champ. The problem is that he doesn't look anything like Harrison Ford.
BTW, Robert Downey Jr. is jewish. And he's fucking Iron Man.
