I saw "Stranger than fiction". Wierd movie. It seemed to want to challenge Hollywood convention, but then backed out. I think it's OK to go further, even in Hollywood. I liked that the director had Dustin Hoffman under control. He does well in these sorts of roles. And i agreed with the prof that Will Ferrel had to die.
Speaking of characters dying and Hollywood convention, why can't we have a Hollywood dogma that has the Robin Williams character die a painful death somewhere early in the film?
