Mediocre movie. Everyone seemed to think that this was such a great movie, but I found it to be very dry. I laughed during very few parts, and didn't think too much during the movie either. I don't really recommend this one to anyone. it gets a 6 for not being terrible, but not being great either
Sweeney Tod - 2/10
Okay I fell asleep half way through this. But the audio was so fucked up on this I could not even enjoy it. I have 5.1 surround sound that is set up properly, just finished watching juno and then put this in. The music so so fucking loud and the voice so quiet I had to put subtitles on to even see what going on. That ruined the entire movie for me, and possibly put me to sleep as well.
I also figured it might just be the speakers so I even turned them off and simply used the TV speakers, but that just made it sound worse.
Anyone else have this problem?

Coincidentally, the same last two movies I've seen--excluding Iron Man, which I've already talked about elsewhere--are Juno and Sweeny Todd...two d's? Who cares?
I'm with you on Juno. It was kind of cute and I laughed a couple of times, but the majority of my time was spent deciphering the whipbangfastsnapdialog and wondering where I could find people who were comparably hip, trendy and or hipster cool to hang out with and discuss obscure horror movies, proper punk rock roots and wear trendy/indie clothing. I'm going lower though because Ellen Page was so very annoying....4/10
I didn't have any problem with the audio on Sweeny. It was a nice enough movie as far as Tim Burton movies go... I just wish they'd written more lyrics to some of the songs. The opening bit was fantastic, quick, witty and very catchy. Then to be followed by 15 minutes of some creepy looking guy singing "IIIIIIIIIIIIIII'MMMMMMMMMMMMM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT YOOOOOUUUURRR WIIIIIIIIINNNNNNDOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!" to some creepy looking girl was bit off putting. Pretty good despite that all that 7/10.
