OK, so I have decided to try my hand at gardening. I bought one bareroot rose to try with and see how it goes.
Now I have been reading a lot about how to care for them and one thing is to cut away canes that grow towards the center. Now looking at my bareroot I see there is one cane that kinda works its way through the center, but it ends up curving outward like the others. Think I should get rid of it?
Also, I noticed there is one cane that looks like it is actually two canes. It splits at the top. Not sure if I should do something about this either.
Could someone take a look at the pic I attached and tell me what they think?
Thanks!
