side note its bin sead that masturbation is the hardiest habit or addiction to brake, but i think drinking water is a harder habit to brake, so it may not be a bad habit but if you want to stop, thats your desire.don't let anything get in the way!!!

Masturbation is only a "problem" if it is interfering with your life in other ways; ie. you skip school or a job to stay home and masturbate; or it is interfering with relationships. It can also be a problem if the guilt (or dirtiness) that you feel leads you into depression.
However, I would address the feelings of guilt before I would quit masturbating. In other words, the guilty feeling is the problem not the act of masturbation.
By the way, I understand your analogy, but drinking water is NOT a habit--it is necessary to sustain life.
