I was heavy in the scene for years and you know what I saw and who I saw cryin? The fuckin' trance heads who only wanted to chew on some goddamn rolex'es and wave their goddamn pretty lights in my face while they scream PLUR.. do you feel the PLUR?? If that didn't kill the fucking mood.. I don't know what would.

You will get purists and elitists in every genre of music. I see it in the DnB realm, the trance realm and everywhere in between. It's just a simple evil of the industry. Big fucking deal.

Ya know why I got so heavy into DnB and Jungle? Because it was an experience. It wasn't some jerkoff throwing a laptop onto a table and plugging in a few pieces of equipment and playing a setlist. I saw real talent on a pair of TURNTABLES in the scene. Yeah I'm elitist when it comes to tables. It's a dying art because of the massiveness that is enveloping the electronic scene. DnB and Junglists seem like they're more dedicated to keeping this around.

I like tons of different kinds of music. Give me a good breakbeat set and I'm happy.. give me some metal and I'm happy.. you get the point. Trance isn't my thing. You say trance makes a person smile.. that's good for you. It doesn't make everyone smile. that's just how it works my friend. and yes, I'm sure if I listened to trance long enough it would actually make me puke.
