What browser and operating system?
I've been giving this some serious thought. In Firefox, every once in a while, many sites will go down seeming at once while others still work. I would try these sites in IE and Opera and they would work...
I determined that something in FF would not update a webpage that used PHP after network timeouts. Why this would have to many PHP sites at once, I still cant guess. My solution was just to close all instances of my browser and run CCleaner.
