Another thing you may want to budget for is sound treatment. The thing that kills audio quality (and thus the cheapest, easiest upgrade) is uncontrolled sound reflection causing phase cancellation, standing waves, and resonance "hot spots". You probably don't realize how much better even your existing sound system could perform. This will be even more true in a square room.
For less than the difference in the price of those projectors you can really really maximize the audio quality you get from the system without buying more expensive components.
