It's easy to say lighten up when you're not the one being affected by something.

I guess I should just say "fucking niggers" every time I see black people, and then tell them to "lighten up" when they get mad.

Maybe "haha, you got raped.." doesn't bother you, but statistically there are just as many people affected by that as "fucking niggers."

Saying "lighten up" from a position of privilege is the pinnacle of ignorance.
