Actually, I was in a relationship for 5 years and would use withdrawl as birth control. It takes skill, but it does work, though your natural inclination is to take those last 2 strokes.
I have a friend whose been married 20 years and has always used withdrawl. He has 2 kids, both of them planned.
Not saying it's right for everyone, you need discipline, but it can work.
