Y'all like to play Russian roulette, don'tcha.
I just don't see the appeal. You stand to lose pretty much everything (at least, life as you know it) if something goes wrong. Maybe there is some kind of turn-on to that kind of risk-taking behavior, but I just don't get it. I love risks, but not ones that truly endanger my life, or even my quality of life. Can you help me understand the mentality that goes into thinking "it won't happen to me?" I made that mistake once, and that was enough.
For me (and my husband), nothing is worth more than peace of mind, and the knowledge that we are disease- and accidental-pregnancy free is such a wonderful thing. I can't say it any more strongly than that. Call me judgmental, that's fine... I reserve the right to be judgmental about unprotected sex.
