Okay, so here's what's happening: I needed to create a website to help promote my film (which is in production), while also being able to talk about news and show off the work of friends and such. I was looking through possible domain names and couldn't decide on anything good, and finally today realized what to do, so I have a domain name, now all I have to do is find the right host. This has proven difficult. At first I tried godaddy.com, but reviews for the site were mixed, so I nixed that one. Now, I'm on a quest, going through a heaping load of shitty hosts and I might have found one, but I want to make sure.
So, does anyone know if
webhostingpad.com is a reliable host, or does anyone know of a host with enough clout to win me over? I'm very uptight about spending money, so I want to make sure I'm getting the most bang for my buck.
And just for the sake of those who are curious, the site I'm planning on creating centers around no-budget film and other indie art forms, so it will have a design similar to Joblo.com, with some more traditional style when it comes to other parts of the site, such as the pages for my filmmaking and writing, as well as a possible forum and, in the future, a store, though I know what to use for those two.
