Since when did efficiency vs. waste matter so much, in a human life? I mean, yes, there are ways to "waste" one's youth/life/etc, but they usually involve, say, committing a crime that puts you behind bars for your entire life. Or spending your youth/life drugged up beyond recognition, so that you aren't even aware of time passing, let alone your use of it. Etc. As long as you are not "wasting" it in those senses, you're probably really just fine... at least, that's what I try to remind myself.
