As far as I'm concerned, Brooklyn accents, Jersey accents, and heavy Southern (redneck) accents have transcended accent territory and developed into full-blown speech impediments.

There aren't a whole lot of things that make me cringe, but most Internet catchphrases bother me, and I want to strangle most people who think it's hilarious to endlessly quote shows like Family Guy and South Park. Speaking of South Park, the first time I heard someone use "tits" as a synonym for "awesome" was Cartman on South Park, and it's the most irritating slang I can think of off the top of my head.

The US phrase makes no bloody sense: if you COULD care less, then you care above the minimum, therefore it matters.
They could care less, but it's not even worth the effort to do that much.
