In all fairness, I should apologize for my outburst in this thread. For starters, I just recently discovered some terrible news of a personal nature and it put me in somewhat of a foul mood. Nothing to fret over, all is actually resolving well enough on that front now, but it is a simple explanation to PART of my emotionally charged post.
This guy clearly needs professional help .. not the death penalty .. I concede that. I was upset by personal matters AND the fact that this nutjob tried to cook his frikkin kid. The mental state of someone capable of that is extremely disturbing and in all honesty, I was actually trying to be somewhat facetious. I can see now how my post may not have seemed as such.
Sadly, the death sentence is most likely all this guy will effectively get though, considering he got .. what was it, 25 years or so? He won't last that long. Some other nutjob will hear about his case and either fall in love and keep him sequestered in the shower or shank him when they've had their own version of "justice" determined. Terrible situation all around.
