This bears repeating. Frankly,
more preachers should be willing to step into the role of prophet. If a preacher isn't willing to condemn injustice - even within one's own country - then what are they good for? What's appalling isn't that Rev. Wright called many actions of the U.S., such as causing the loss of innocent life in Iraq, damnable. What's appalling is that there are so many preachers who
don't.
