Yeah, the drillers are troopers, they work their balls off, well the Drillers Helper has the hardest job, especially if the rig is fuckin up. I'm just am exploration Tech, so I only go down 3-5 days a week for 12 hours at a clip, we can't just go back to the surface to get new equipment if something is broken, it's about an hour and a half from the Exploration Drift to the cage, and the thing with cages is, they don't go up often unless it's the beginning of the end of the shift. So if something breaks it's time to set up a jerry rig and hope it lasts the time it takes to gyro the hole, which depending on the length of the hole could be upwards of 8-10 hours. Had a couple of days of 24 hours underground, not enjoyable at all, especially running out of cigarettes.
