I can't quite remember the story and I only learned about it because it was the subject of a painting, but I believe there's a Catholic Saint who miraculously survives imprisonment without food. He survived of course, because his daughter secretly nursed him when she visited.

A shot of breast milk for anyone who can fill in the story or name the painting!

Found it. The painting I saw was Peter Paul Ruebens' Cimon and Pero from a tour of the Hermitage's collection. Here's some info on the story from a Breastfeeding in Art website. No, really!
