That is very true. My first year in University was a washout. I just couldn't get my shit together. I took the next year off and came to a quick realization that working shitty, deadend jobs for the rest of my life would blow. I actually liked being in school.
When I went back I didn't look back.
The point snowy made about the narrowing of the crowd the higher further you get is very true. By the time I was doing my last year of school, the class size was tiny and the quality of courses were stellar.
