I also think the world is due for its next major shift. It won't be all bad, except America will never be the same. The "American way of life"? It's over. It's only a matter of time.
Invading Iraq was supposed to be a way for America to secure both its power and resources. It seems to be failing. This doesn't bode well.
I need to think more on this, too. I'll come back to this.

The trick really is to get as many people ready as possible.
1) Don't be afraid.
- I'm not scared of torture at all. Do whatever the fuck you want to me, I'm not shutting up until I'm dead. Keep me of planes? Don't make me laugh. Tap my phones? Listen to my words all you want. Kidnap me and take me to Cuba? I love pork sandwiches and I'm not afraid of you or anyone else. I know torture is going to fucking hurt.
2) Tell people who want to listen.
3) Tell people who don't care.
4) Tell people who don't want to listen.
Whatever happens, I'm either going to be fine or not. What I care about is justice, fairness, reason, ethics, and liberty. So long as I can champion that until the day I die, I'll be happy.
