So, I was in the store this morning looking to buy some Gatorade to take with me to work when I spotted a new flavor I hadn't tried before: Super Bowl Berry (see pics below). It's a limited edition flavor that, I assume, comes out a few weeks before the big game. So anyway, I decided to try it. Turns out that the main flavor is sort of a black cherry, but with an odd, bitter after-taste that I couldn't place at first. Then it finally dawned on me.
That bitterness is the taste of the tears of a million disappointed Patriots fans.
This is my new favorite flavor.
