I like the convienience of using my card as well, and I have several auto withdrawals set up that I wouldn't even know how to get ahold of them to update the information anyway (like my student loan for example) so i feel kinda stuck.

They did you right this time, but keep them on a short leash. It's more of a hassle to give away $35 x X for stupid NSF. Unless of course you're willing to part with $35 here and there, if you are, I'll send you my paypal info and when you are feeling generous, send it this way.
Don't you get any statements in the mail? There's information on them.
See if your employer has a deal with any banks. Some will give you free services because you direct deposit with them as the preferred bank from your employer. Lots of banks like this setup because they don't ever really "lose" the money to another bank. It just gets moved internally from one account to another.
