The Bush treason was misrepresenting the truth to Congress (and wiretapping, and a hundred other things). The invasion itself is Congress's responsibility. 215 Republicans and 81 Democrats in the house and the 48 Republicans and 29 Democrats in the Senate are the people directly guilty for the invasion of Iraq.
Frankly, invasion wouldn't have been the answer for Saudi Arabia either, though. We should have compiled true and verifiable evidence and brought it before the UN, which would have passed a resolution about Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan while simultaneously asking our allies for any assistance in bringing the guilty to justice. Instead of hated, the US would have been loved.
