I was referring to the proportion of representatives in the House of Commons. The Bloc Quebecois and the NDP are essentially socialist, and they make up about 25% of the House.
This is a bit off track, I know, but is in response to "the left blames Israel," which I think is off the mark. I'm pretty sure the only finger pointing the NDP has done in regards to the Middle East is directed at Prime Minster Harper.
If you look at "leftist" theorists and critics, most of them will likely indicate the United States as one of the prime targets of "blame" for things going bad (or staying bad or getting worse) in the Middle East.
EDIT: I should talk about the bunny. Yes, this is a bad thing. Of course it is. There are far worse things people have done with children out of desperation. There are other things we could be focusing on. To believe that Hamas or other Palestinian groups do nothing to indoctrinate their children is to be naive. What good does it do for them, us, or Israel to watch this video and simply say how crazy and fucked up and evil these people are? Of course they're crazy; look at the lives they live.
