Who would those allies be, pray tell? Some terror groups? I would think that the leaders of most of the countries there would hate Iran's guts - Iran's support for extreme Islam poses a direct threat to their power...
...but I could be wrong of course.
However, do not assume all Iranians are going to volunteer to die in the Jihad against the invading US - there will be many Iranians welcoming the liberators. Only the extremists (with most to lose) will fight to the death.
