A baby is not justification to ruin two people's lives who normally would not be together. If they are able to build a strong relationship out of the situation and get married down the road great, but pregnancy is absolutely not a reason to get married.
If the father agrees marriage is not an option, and a relationship is not going to work out. The mother needs to realize she is a single mother, and needs to plan likewise (not relying on the father for everything). If the single mother can't handle being a single mom she needs to consider adoption, or alternatives to that solution.
