AngelaSI, I've heard that a safety razor works better for women. It's probably easier to use on all the curved surfaces such as legs. My wife is intrigued, and she may yet try the safety razor. But she also agrees that the straight razor is not for her. ( I think it was after I told her the straight razor would take off a toe if she dropped it in the shower
