It is just one of those damned-if-do situations where every choice will be the wrong one. First, your friend will have all sorts of misplaced anger at the fact that it happened, which will just spill into anger towards you since you were the one that found it. Second, it will put a damper on the friendship only because the knew "knowledge" you have of his girl.
