I've been shaving with a straight razor for 14 years now. You'd have to pay me a lot to use one to shave my head. Gauze ain't cheap, ya know.
Seriously, keeping the correct angle by feel does come to you after a few years, but I can't imagine doing it on top my head. Some people might, but it can't be easy.
