I got mine from <a href="http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/522951/197377.htm">Classic Shaving</a> for $70. I debated a long time about getting it, but I travel out of state at least 1-2 times a month so it was worth it. Also, the brush is nickel-plated brass not stainless as I mentioned. They do have a stainless version on that site though.

There is no way I'd shave my head with a straight razor. Maybe after a few more years of use (it's only been about a year for me). It just seems like it'd be hard to keep the correct angel when you can't see what you're doing.
