I only just saw CR this evening. This version of Bond is so superior to the campy Bond's of the past. (I stopped watching them when Moore took the role). I think what everyone is raving about is that it is far more realistic than any of the Bond movies. Bond is flawed, he actually kills people in cold blood, and he isn't the playboy baffoon that mocks 'M' and teases Miss Moneypenny.
I am a fan once again if the franchise continues in this more adult form.
