Ooo what a neat idea for a thread!
My personal experience is...
don't tell a guy something is ok unless it really is ok. ie - "it's ok, you don't need to worry about fixing that now" translates to: "Don't ever fix it for all I care."
Even a leaf or piece of stem from a pretty succulent plant grows easily from a cutting. I have on multiple occasions snuck a little tiny piece from someone's overgrown plant while on a walk, and gotten them to live happily by putting them in a bit of moist soil.
