While the poor South Pole only gets 8" of snow a year
(of course it never melts); one of the driest climates on earth down there. I just learned that today when I explored a website related to some new scientific exploration in Antarctica.
Today I had a yummy tuna hoagie for lunch, on a great crusty bread roll with nicely textured center, tasty tomato slices on it, raw onion, provolone, and I like to drizzle a little Italian dressing on it, with a bottle of Stewart's Black Cherry Wishniak soda. No bones in it, though.
