I agree LoganSnake, 100K would be far better spent on an Aston and people would actually turn their heads when you drive by.

Well as far as I see, there's a difference between head-turning and pin-your-head-to-the-headrest. If I wanted to turn heads, I'd get an old Countach, or for far, far les money, a shelby cobra kit car (that by-the-way also can have super performance). It is interesting that people are examining what "car-people's" reactions versus non "car-people"s" reactions are. While some of the marques such as Lambo, and Ferrari still make bona fide exotics and have the names to go with it makers like Maserati and Aston make good looking cars that don't really set themselves apart all that much (IMHO). Some of the Astons look like Jaguars (which are very nice, but somewhat less exotic) and the Maseratis are sort of, almost boring. I pulled in opposite one in a parking lot a week or two ago and it actually took me a while to figure out what the hell it even was. Going back to my original point, I think that the new vette will be a driver's car, and other drivers will envy the driver, but regular people will just shrug and not appreciate it above a regular vette.
