American women are getting fatter. They've just recently revamped the sizes. I used to be a 4, now I'm a 2. I didn't lose any weight. I have dress patterns in this house from the 1960's. My measurements put me at a size 10 on those patterns. I walk into JC Penny's and try on a size 2 and it fits.
Manroe may have been a size 10 in her day. I do not contest that.
But I would have been, too.
There's nothing ugly about a women's body of any size - as long as you're healthy and able to do everything necessary to live your lifestyle.
