You lost me there. I refuse to conform to any sort of predetermined gender stereotype, including the way men are supposed to act toward other men. Anything regarding dating a friend's ex would be based on my friendship with the two of them and how changes would affect myself and my friends, not some rule telling me "do not date your friend's ex."
