I wonder if capitalists watch that show just sitting there and seething. Ustwo? Is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition a socialist nightmare?
Sports movies? I've seen quite a few. The first I ever saw was "The Air Up There" with Kevin Bacon and a bunch of Africans. I knew it was a stupid movie and I was only like 10 years old. "Cool Runnings" was fun, but it was hardly the staple of manliness. "Ragining Bull" wasn't bad (I saw it when I was maybe 12ish), but I found it hard to take seriously because of Pesci. "Jerry McGuire" just pissed me off. "Rocky" was fantastic, but not only wasn't cry-worthy, but was ruined by goofy sequels. "Field of Dreams" actually made me cut myself... you know to see if "they" would finally come and I could leave.
Actually, I can only think of a handful of sports movies that are even worth sitting through:
Rocky, Bull Durham, Brian's Song, Miracle, Caddyshack, The Natural, and The Hustler. Oh, and Pride of the Yankees. Can't forget that. Still, I'd feel really awkward if a man started crying during any of these, you know if it wasn't Lou Gehrig. He can cry.
