Ascenseur pour l'échafaud (Elevator to the Gallows) 8/10
Directed by Louis Malle, from IMDB "A self-assured business man murders his employer, the husband of his adulterer, which unintentionally provokes an ill-fated chain of events." It was beautifully shot. The soundtrack was composed by Miles Davis. I enjoyed it.
Zazie dans le métro (7/10)
Another Louis Malle movie. Zazie stays with her uncle in Paris while her mom spends time with her lover. Zazie runs off and has fun in Paris on her own. It's a comedy. It was interesting, but not much of a plot to speak of.
