When I was in the military I went to hospital corpsman school. The gender ratio was about 50/50. All in all there were about 26 guys in the class. With the exception of a couple, most of the guys in the class were either going to BUDS (basic underwater demolition school/SEAL training) or FMSS (field med service school- where Navy Corpsman become Marine medics). So there was plenty of testosterone in the class. The instructors made the class watch a movie at one point called “Go Into the Light”. It was a funny and interesting experience. Every single person in the room was crying. The guys were either getting up and heading out of the classroom or hiding their faces.
