Don't Cry It's Only a Movie
While it should be OK for a guy to cry at a movie, its not a comfortable experience for me. Especially, when on a first date. This happened when I went and saw The Last Samurai. It did not see it coming. I didn’t start completely sobbing, but my chest started uncontrollable short respirations, my lower lip started quivering, and my eyes started tearing up. I started clinching my fists and telling myself I am not going to do this here. I had to tune the movie out. I finally got a hold of my composure, but for a moment there was a possibility everyone around may have seen and heard just how sad the movie was making me. I know I shouldn’t care what others think, but hey . . .its a guy thing. Feel free to list any movies that made you cry. I’m especially interested if there have been any that brought tears at awkward moments, and you suppressed them.
